The Second Generation Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has launched with enhanced looks and features. However, it was already launched in Indonesia but the Indian market had to wait for this all-new Ertiga. As we all know, New Ertiga is based on lightweight Heartect Platform which is also present in Dzire, Swift and Baleno. Looks of the all-new Ertiga are enhanced by several new additions such as projector headlamps, chrome inserts and LED tail lamps etc.

The new generation Ertiga is bigger than the previous model. Also, the boot space has been increased while the wheelbase remained the same. Moreover, new Ertiga is going to provide a spacious legroom. Here is a comparison between the dimensions of old and new Ertiga:

All new Ertiga has a lot of new features equipped which were not present in the previous version. In the previous model, there was a 1.4- litre Petrol Engine & 1.3- litre Diesel engine. It has a new 1.5- litre Petrol engine whereas the diesel engine is the same as the previous ones. Additionally, this MPV has SHVS hybrid technology so it has two batteries, one for the torque assist and another one for automatic start/stop technology. If we talk about the price, This New MPV has very genuine prices. As we see, there are many new features present which wasn’t introduced in the old version.
