Near the Pune-Goa Expressway, the Tata H5X was seen with a lot of camouflage on it. It is the first time ever, we got to see the upcoming SUV, all thanks to MotorOctane. This sexy looking SUV by Tata was first unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo and the production ready model is expected to be available in early 2019.

These spy shots by MotorOctane does not reveal a lot of details of the the upcoming beast. You can be a better judge of the car by the looks of it. What we know is that this SUV features Impact Design 2.0 for the first time ever. This SUV is based on the Land Rover Discovery Sport platform.

The company officials also stated a while ago that the production model have 80%-85% of what was seen on the Concept model at the Auto Expo 2018. They also mentioned this SUV to compete with the Creta which means the price will start at around 12 lakhs and may go up-to 18 lakhs for the 4×4 Automatic variant. There is another thing we know about that the H5X will be a lot bigger than its rivals. The company is competing with Hyundai Creata, Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV500, Renault Duster and many others.

By judging these images and comparing them with the Concept model, we believe it is exactly the same and the SUV will have a very large boot space for its customers.

A 2.0 litre diesel engine by Fiat is expected to be feature in the Tata H5X SUV with both Automatic and Manual Transmissions. The SUV will definitely support a lot of futuristic interiors and technology. Lets wait for more official updates by the company about the design, features and release date. No doubt, many car lovers are waiting for this SUV as it will totally change the SUV market currently in India.
