Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Tata Nexon, both are one of the most popular Sub-4 Meter SUVs in India. Customers across the country are fully satisfied with these two cars. Tata launched their Nexon Automatic Variant a few days back and then Maruti also unveiled their Brezza Automatic. Now many car lovers are struggling to make the right choice between these two. One of the major difference in the engine option is that the Tata Nexon offers both petrol and diesel options with Automatic Gearbox. However, the Brezza is is only available in Diesel from the beginning. Now, it is expected that the petrol model of the Maruti SUV will be out in coming months as well. In terms of power, the Brezza has a 1.3-litre four cylinder engine with just 90bhp and 200Nm of torque. Maruti is offering a ton of features with this model just as the ZDI+ manual model. However, if you do not require all these extra features, the company is offering ZDI and VDI automatic versions as well. The VDI models comes with two airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and keyless entry.
On the other hand, the Tata Nexon does not provide this choice for now, but in coming days there will be cheaper variants of the Nexon AMT. Currently, Tata is offering a ton of features like the projector headlamps with LED DRLs with front fog lamps as well. 16-inch alloy with Harman audio and 6.5-inch touchscreen display with support of Android Auto and wearable smart key as well.
The Vitara Brezza provides an average of 24.3 kmpl as it comes in diesel variant. Whereas, the Tata Nexon petrol gives the mileage of 17 kmpl and the diesel one gives the mileage of 21.5 kmpl. Clearly the Brezza is more economical in terms of fuel consumption.
